The
artistic endeavors of Carrie were inspired, at an early age, by
her father, a graphic designer. She later studied at the Art Center
in Pasadena California. Today, Carrie depicts interior environments
in a soft, realistic and bold style. Her compositions of ordinary
settings are filled with dramatic available light, not unlike
one of her influences, Vermeer.
