Jalinpol's origin , like that of Matisse is in the flatlands of north France. Color has always been her in-
spiration. The bright red of the poppy flower, the strinking green of abundant foliage and the sunny yellow of a sum- mer meadow compose her palatte. Each paint-
ing is created on canvas using a palette knife and oil paint. Her paintings are a modern twist on the classical still life and appreciated for their striking originality and vibrancy
