Sang
Lee was born in Korea in 1949 and in 1972 he graduated from Seoul
University with a degree in fine art. In 1977 and 1980 he received
gold medals for first prize in Korean art exhibitions. In1985
he earned the grand prize at Gu San Jun. After moving to the United
States in 1989, the artist has focused on his love of painting
seaside vistas on both the eastern and western American seaboards
including Cape Cod, Point Lobos and Big Sur.
