Li Xiao    
  Born in Shanghai, China in 1957, Li Xiao first studied the classical elements of portrait, still life and landscape painting at the Shanghai School of Fine Arts and Crafts. Upon graduation, he was appointed Professor of Fine Arts. In 1984 he attended the College of Fine Arts at the University of Shanghai and, again, was appointed Professor. Currently living in America, Li Xiao’s New England landscapes are influenced by French and American Impressionists including Sargent, Homer, and Wyeth.
